For more than 175 years, Saint Malachy has served this neighborhood through worship, the sacraments, charity, and care for those in need.
If you are a lifelong Catholic, returning to the Church, new to Philadelphia, or simply curious, you are welcome to come through our doors. You do not need to have everything figured out before you visit us.

Come to Mass on Sunday. Receive the Lord’s mercy in Confession. Spend quiet time before the Blessed Sacrament. These are simple ways to begin or deepen a life of faith.
Holy Mass
Sunday Mass is celebrated at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM at Saint Malachy Church.
Confession
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered before both Sunday Masses.
Eucharistic Adoration
The Saint Malachy Chapel is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Our Food Pantry and Outreach Center serves neighbors on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Beginning September 20, join us after the 10:00 AM Mass on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Saint Malachy School
A Catholic school serving children in North Philadelphia from Pre-K through eighth grade.

NEW TO SAINT MALACHY?
Your first visit can be simple.
Come a few minutes early, enter through the main doors, and choose any open seat. If you are unsure about something, ask us. We are glad you are here.
Everyone is welcome to attend Mass. If you are not Catholic or are not receiving Holy Communion, you are welcome to remain in the pew and pray during Communion.
